Change Management

Change Management is the process utilised to bring about the acceptance of change within a group.

A facilitated change management workshop enables the project team to achieve consensus thereby assisting with the implementation of the project, system or venture.

Buy-in to the project is achieved because the emotion, fear and resistance often associated with scenarios involving change is acknowledged and dealt with in a formal, controlled environment. Logic is able to be brought into play, people’s opinions and concerns can be heard and ultimately, the change will be considered necessary and beneficial, making the project a success.

The change management process comprises two main stages:

  1. planning the change; and
  2. implementing the change.

Independently facilitated change management workshops yield the following benefits:

Benefits to you -
Stage 1:

  • A realistic “vision for change” is explored and agreed upfront;
  • A change management plan is developed;
  • An ongoing and effective dialogue between all stakeholders for the duration of the project, from initiation to implementation and beyond is established;
  • An open and non confrontational forum promotes the resolution of critical issues that may otherwise be avoided; and
  • A robust and agreed implementation program with allocated responsibilities is developed.

Benefits to you - Stage 2:

  • The “vision for change” is able to be communicated effectively;
  • Issues and concerns can be dealt with before they become major problems;
  • Key stakeholders are given the opportunity to endorse the vision; and
  • Consensus is achieved, generating enthusiasm and a smooth, hassle-free transition to the desired future.
