Risk Management

Risk management is about assessing the seriousness of risk and having strategies in place to deal with the situations that present the greatest threat.

An independently facilitated risk management workshop requires stakeholders to come together to brainstorm circumstances that could impede the achievement of required outcomes. A screening methodology is employed to isolate the risks which have a significant likelihood of occurring and would result in serious damage. For threats deemed the most serious, risk minimisation strategies are devised to mitigate impacts should a risk eventuate, and a risk management plan / register is devised to monitor the remaining, lower rated risks.

Over the years, Tierney Page Kirkland has developed extensive risk management experience on large and small projects, and commercial initiatives in both the public and privates sectors.

Benefits to you:

  • A common and realistic understanding of project requirements is established;
  • A systematic and realistic assessment of likely risks is undertaken and documented;
  • The likelihood of unexpected calamity is mitigated;
  • An ongoing means to take greater control of risk is established;
  • Responsibility for managing the risk is allocated equitably;
  • Time and cost associated with rectifying problems is reduced; and
  • The likelihood of project success is significantly increased.
